AITP Open Air

AITP Open Air is the free outdoor version of film festival Africa in the Picture. In July, August and September you can watch the best African movies and documentaries on several locations in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. For free!

After a successful kickoff during the North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam, the AITP caravan settles down next to cinema Het Ketelhuis on Saturday July 20! On the screen the dramatic music documentary Benda Billili! about the legendary Congolese band that performed at all the major European festivals and lately gave a concert in a sold out Melkweg On Friday, September 2, the film will be screened again on the Wittenburgerplein in Amsterdam center.

Furthermore AITP Open Air will screen during the Made in Africa Weekend in de Tolhuistuin in Amsterdam Noord and at the West Beach Film Festival in Amsterdam Nieuw West.
