A tribute to the early pan men and pan women of Trinidad and Tobago who against all odds fought for their freedom of expression through the unique and ever-evolving instrument that is the steel pan.
Kim Johnson Laureate for Caribbean Excellence in Arts & Letters, is the foremost historian of the steel pan. In 2010 he curated the multi-media museum exhibition The Audacity of the Creole Imagination in which the film was included.
