At the intersection of tradition and the modern world, TINYE SO traces the quest of the ancestors as they struggle to be heard by their people.

Malian-French director Daouda Coulibaly began his career in television and audio visual editing. Inspired by traditional storytelling, Coulibaly’s films speak to a long tradition in West African filmmaking, as his work reflects the close relationship between African film and literature.

This short film is part of the Round about African Shorts program, Shorts 3 and will be screened with THE DELIVERANCE OF COMFORT - THE LEGEND OF NGONG HILLS - PHYLLIS - ALAMBAMENTO - STRESSED - ZEBU
