At the intersection of tradition and the modern world, TINYE SO traces the quest of the ancestors as they struggle to be heard by their people.

Malian-French director Daouda Coulibaly began his career in television and audio visual editing. Inspired by traditional storytelling, Coulibaly’s films speak to a long tradition in West African filmmaking, as his work reflects the close relationship between African film and literature.
