Johnny Symons is a San Francisco-based documentarian specializing in films on LGBT life. DADDY & PAPA (2002), about gay men raising children, screened at Sundance and won 15 international festival awards. ASK NOT (2008), about gay life in the US military, screened on television internationally and for the US Congress.
