Redefinition: African Hip Hop

It's no longer any secret that hip-hop culture has deeply rooted itself in Afrikaans pop culture over the past 10 years. More than one Afrikaans rapper has garnered worldwide fame, countless documentaries have been produced, and the music is now being used on soundtracks for Hollywood films. In the triptych Redefinition:African Hip Hop, hip-hop artists and local filmmakers look at the recent history of the hip-hop scene and its impact on society.
