This authentic Afrikaans film follows the marital hopes of Nchare. He is just 16 when his father dies and his uncle takes him to another village. There he sees Mapon, the love of his life, for the first time. But he has heavy competition from other boys in the village. When Mapon’s parents need financial support from successful businessman Moluh, the dream of marriage between Nchare and Mapon seems even further away.
