LEZARE (For Today) is a revealing and touching story about a homeless boy in a small village in southern Ethiopia. A powerful message and beautifully short film, about global warming, short-sightedness and the dangers posed for future generations when we think only for today.

Best East African Film Prize at Zanzibar International Film Festival, Best Youth Jury Award at Tarifa African Film Festival in Spain, Best Short film Award at Kenya International Film Festival, Golden Impala Eastern African Short film Award in Uganda, Bronze Taint at the Carthage Film Festival in Tunisia.

Zelalem Woldemariam was born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and started his career as a businessman. He is the owner of the production company Zeleman Production, which released his first feature film THE 11TH HOUR in 2006.
