Christophe never knew his parents, a Vietnamese woman and a soldier from Benin who was sent to fight for the French in the Indochina war (1946-1954). Now 58 years old, he goes to Vietnam to see where his mother came from. Astonishing moving documentary.

Born in Benin in 1967, Idrissou Mora-Kpai received his training in documentary and fiction filmmaking at the Babelsberg Film and Television School in Germany. In 1999, he moved to Paris, where he set up a production company principally devoted to documentary film.
