What Black Men Think
USA 2008

Director: Jacks Morton
Docu, 87 min

There is a profusion of misinformation about Black men. In this provocative documentary, Morton sets out to fight these misperceptions and myths that are quietly yet deeply nested in the public psyche; sometimes so deeply so that Black men even begin to believe in them. Morton uses graphs, statistics and pictures to attack the popular stereotypes. He warns us, at the same time, about the consequences of stereotyping the Black community.
Jacks Morton is the founder of the IYAGO ENTERTAINMENT GROUP, a multimedia production company. He also set up GIVE US FREE PRODUCTIONS, a production company for documentaries, films and videos. WHAT BLACK MEN THINK is his first documentary.
