Aeesha is a Sudanese woman who is seeking asylum in Great Britain. The film follows her through her arrival period in London, during which the horrors from her past keep on haunting her. A film about the psychological consequences of war on innocent refugees.
Rumbi Katedza has been working for years in the film industry. She writes, produces and directs. She was the director of the Zimbabwe International Film Festival for two years. Her directing debut was DANAI, for which she was nominated for Best Director by the Zimbabwean National Arts Merit Awards.
