Lindiwe and Amaqhikiza, two Zulu women, are staying together in the same Women’s Hut during Ukuya Enyangeni, the time for isolation and reflection over their menstruation. A period during which a secret desire for each other comes to life. A film like a fairy tale or is this a true story?

South African Kekeletso Khena is a poet, LGBTI activist and burgeoning filmmaker. Her passion for storytelling in intertwined with her engagement to bring attention to the underdog position of women.
