Are we all starting to look alike? Or is it the opposite - are the differences between people worldwide becoming greater? The VPRO programme Metropolis searches for an answer to that question; the core of the programme is formed by a network of more than 50 correspondents from throughout the whole world: from New York to Kinshasa and from Kabul to Rio de Janeiro.
