Il Neige à Marrakech

Morocco 2007

Karim wishes to fulfill his dying father’s last wish of skiing in Switzerland. Unable to get a visa, Karim takes his father to a Moroccan ski resort and tries to make him believe that he is in the Swiss Alps. This short film has won several international audience and jury awards: at the International Short Film Festival in Winterthur, Switzerland, the BE FILM Underground Film Festival in New York and the Montecatini International Short Film Festival in Italy, among others.

Hicham Alhayat was born in Morocco. He studied at the École Supérieure d'Art Dramatique in Geneva and directed HAUNTED en SEXE, BEUR ET CONFITURE.
