C’est Dimanche! - It’s Sunday!

13-year old Ibrahim is thrown out of school. Without saying a word, he hands over the school letter to his father, who cannot read, and believes that his son just got his diploma. Full of pride, he takes him around town to see all of his French friends. This film has garnered many audience and international press awards at the Nice Film Festival and at the Festival del Cinema Africano, d'Asia e America Latina in Milan, among others.

C’EST DIMANCHE is Samir Guesmi’s first film as a director. He has worked and acted in several French films with, among others, Claude Miller, Guillaume Canet and Alain Gomis.
