This will be a debate in order to try and find the answer to the question how leadership works in Africa. With talks, interviews, crash courses, a showing of the film UNE MORT DE STYLE COLONIALE – PATRICE LUMUMBA, UNE TRAGÉDIE AFRICAINE and music, the following questions will be discussed: Do traditional leaders still have power and if so what is their power based on? Why is democracy often so poor in Africa? What will be the effect of the possible election of Barack Obama to Africa?
