Speaking of Ethiopia

Organized in cooperation with various social organizations, these film evenings will highlight a particular country.

Sunday September 7th
6.00 pm:There will be a public interview with Alem Desta about her book Candace: Invincible Women of Ethiopia, which gives an historic insight and contains many interviews with present female Ethiopian leaders.
7.00 pm:13 MONTHS OF SUNSHINE by Yehdego Abeselom is a heart-warming comedy about a marriage to get a residence permit, an authentic Ethiopian coffee house and everything that entails.
The evening will finish off with music by an Ethiopian DJ and there will be a selection of Ethiopian snacks available.
