This musical road movie traces Youssou N’Dour’s epic journey into the footsteps of the slaves and their jazz music. He travels through the USA and Europe, accompanied by pianist Moncef Genoud, and manages through debate, concerts and meetings to create music, with the aid of top musicians, which transcends cultural diversity. The tour’s goal is to return jazz to Gorée, the island that symbolizes the slave trade.
