2006

Rag and Tag (Raymond and Tagbo), inseparable childhood friends, reunite after years of separation. During a trip to Nigeria their love blossoms. On return to London, however, their relationship gets ever so complicated. In this film Nwandu effectively manages, in a minimal setting, to depict how empty and suffocating life can be for gay Afro-Brits in an intolerant environment. The minimal sets and slow exposition will not win Oscars, but the film is definitely worth watching!
