Hole In The Wall

Sierra Leone 2006

Director: Sarah King
Short film, 14 min.

Two children are playing near a hole in a wall, which separates their families and communities. The film examines the metaphor, as well the reality, of a divided society in a humoristic and simultaneously tragic way. Will the kids be able to bring an end to the division? What is the effect of a closed society and what does it mean to be excluded?
