Ezra

Newton Aduaka has made a penetrating film which is told from the perspective of Ezra, a former child soldier from Sierra Leone. Ezra is trying to reconcile himself with the harrowing civil war. During his trial before the Truth and Reconciliation Committee Ezra has to confront his sister, who reveals a horrifying secret of which Ezra cannot remember a thing. Will Ezra ever be able to return to his family and village? Ezra has won several awards at Sundance, Fespaco and Milan.
