A young Togolese woman, Legba Akosse, works for a family in France. In a beautiful photo essay, she thinks back to her youth and shares her experiences of modern slavery. Brahim Fritah (1973) was born in Paris. After the video projects Chroniques d’un balayeur (1999) and El Censo (2002), he made the feature film Slimane le magnifique. His short film A woman alone (2005) was inspired by a trip through Togo.
