Raising the Flag Pandisha Benderav

For the first time in forty years, Congo will have free elections. In this documentary the Congolese film maker Katondolo concentrates on the East of the country, a region where militia are still an integral part of daily life. Petna Ndaliko Katondolo, known to be an experimental film maker, learned his trade both in Goma, Congo, and Amsterdam. In his films he addresses social and human rights issues.
