Five teenage girls film their quest for the dreams, values and rights of their mothers. They are confronted with their own paths towards adulthood and the changing relationship with their moms. Anna Spohr was born in Germany, where she studied psychology and literature. In the Netherlands, she made various television programmes for the networks. She is now the artistic director of AllAboutUS FilmFactory, an initiative that helps young people make their first documentaries.
